Donald Newsom

Donald Newsom, Director of IT Infrastructure Operations at Signature Performance, oversees all IT Operations and development of new technical solutions. Donald has been with the Signature team for over eight years and also serves as a member of Signature’s Leadership Team.

He successfully orchestrated the requirements for Signature’s secured government network for ClaimsXM and Other Health Insurance (OHI) contracts. This includes adhering to NIST 800-53 compliance, designing system architecture, and security policies and procedures. Donald has also rearchitected systems and network hardware and designed a redundant wide-area network (WAN) infrastructure, providing a high level of system uptime. He implemented Signature’s IT security posture with next-generation firewalls and switches. Donald oversees system architecture and delivery of managed service offerings from the client desktop to the data center, including external technologies and services.
