Dr. Leo Greenstone

Dr. Leo Greenstone, is the Chief Medical Officer at Signature Performance and is a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Dr. Greenstone brings a multifaceted background as a clinician, medical educator, and administrator to inform and enhance Signature's solutions and services. He also plays a pivotal role in evaluating new processes and technologies, drawing from his extensive clinical experience to offer informed, strategic recommendations.

Although Dr. Greenstone ended his clinical practice as a general internist after 38 years in 2024, he remains his active medical license and is actively engaged in the medical field. Dr. Greenstone has extensive experience in Veteran healthcare, including broad Veteran and academic experience. He is also a former clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and has held a variety of administrative and clinical appointments for both the federal and commercial sectors during his career.

Upon his retirement from the VA in 2022, he received the Distinguished Career Award recognizing 16 years of outstanding service to the Department of Veteran Affairs signed by Secretary McDonough.
