Karen Hudgins

Karen Hudgins is the Executive Advisor to the Chairman at Signature Performance.

Karen has over 38 years of experience leading enterprise optimization initiatives, including strategic planning, technical innovation, and process improvement. She has led complex and large-scale enterprise-wide implementations in both the public and private sectors. Karen joined Signature Performance in 2019 as the Chief Operating Officer and was instrumental in launching ClaimsXM, a breakthrough, exclusive managed service solution that processes healthcare claims by merging the best of technology, process, and execution. In 2022, Karen was named President and Chief Operating Officer responsible for leading day-to-day business operations, ensuring the organization has the most effective people, processes, and technology in place to deliver on our vision of bending the curve of rising healthcare administrative costs and burdens in the United States.

Before joining Signature, Karen served as the Director of Community Care Transformation for the Department of Veteran Affairs. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, she led complex initiatives to transform the Community Care Program, including supporting the implementation of the Mission Act of 2018 and the next-generation multi-billion dollar Community Care network contracts resulting in significant improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, and technical innovation that helped better serve millions of Veterans with their healthcare needs.
