The company was founded in 2004 by Allen Fredrickson to provide business processing services to the healthcare industry. Within the first year, Signature was selected to provide full business services to 40 medical facilities across the United States.

Signature expanded its suite of solutions by providing Health Information Management services including coding, auditing, and training, as well as referral management, authorization support, and case management to a health system of more than 34 hospitals and clinics.

Signature celebrated our fifth anniversary and was the recipient of two coveted community awards, the Omaha Best Places to Work award and the Omaha Chamber Excellence in Business Award.

To fulfill our mission, Signature Performance expanded our market segment to include serving payers. Our first payer engagement included providing claims processing services for one of the nation's largest healthcare payers.

Signature was one selected by Cerner to help modernize the VA and DOD's electronic health records. Signature was also one of six companies to be identified as a premier partner. This project was the largest healthcare project to date in our nation's history.

Signature launched a first-of-its-kind claims adjudication platform, Claims Experience Management (ClaimsXM). ClaimsXM uses a data-driven approach, streamlines tasks, and reduces challenges related to claims administration while operating in a secure government cloud.
