Signature Performance Named a "Best for Vets Employer - 2020" by Military Times

Signature Performance, Inc., headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, has recently been named a 2020 Best for Vets Employer, marking Signature’s debut in the rankings, put together by Military Times and Sightline Media. This award acknowledges Signature Performance’s extensive commitment to creating vibrant employment opportunities for our nation’s veterans. Selections are based on a thorough review of company policies and practices related to veteran recruitment and retention, support for transitioning military skills to civilian, support for military spouse employment, and accommodations for National Guard service.

In 2020, over 4% of Signature’s workforce are self-identified as veterans. One of the many ways Signature demonstrates our ongoing commitment to attracting and retaining veterans is through our Veteran’s Associate Resource Group. With the mission of fostering camaraderie between veterans and the community, this group of passionate Associates look for ways to serve, from visiting Veteran Homes and participating in activities to laying wreaths at Nebraska’s National Cemetery. This active group is just one of the ways we help foster community among our veterans and teammates.

“We are highly honored to receive this award from Military Times as it reflects our dedication to the men and women in the armed forces,” Allen Fredrickson, President/CEO of Signature Performance said. “I’m glad that our nation’s veterans can look to Signature Performance for a meaningful career knowing that their many talents will make a positive impact in the healthcare industry and among their colleagues. I am proud to be one of three companies headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska to be included on the list. I would like to thank the Military Times and Sightline Media for this award as well as recognize the important work they do to recognize Veterans and companies that that support them.”

Mark Mathia, Chief Experience Officer and a U.S. veteran says about the recognition, “Signature Performance places a great deal of value on creating a culture where our Associates, veterans and civilians alike, can thrive and grow. This award recognizes our continued work to make the lives of those we work with better, our mission since Signature was started over sixteen years ago.”

The rankings, entering their 11th year, were created by Military Times to highlight employers who demonstrate policies, practices, and workplace culture supporting recruitment and retention of veterans and veteran-connected family members. This list is recognized as a trusted resource for transitioning veterans and coveted honor for employers across the United States.
