Looking Back at 2022 on The Link

Even though our team is eager to see what 2023 has in store for the healthcare industry, we can't help but reflect and take stock on everything we have learned and experienced this past year. 2022 has been a year of innovation, adaptability, and perseverance for many in the healthcare industry.

Our mission at Signature Performance has never been more important than it was this past year. Our industry experts have enjoyed sharing healthcare administrative industry trends, information, and celebrating important company milestones. With each article we published this year, we wanted to ensure that our clients, partners, and Associates knew that we were all navigating the evolution of healthcare and building personal intersections together.

Here is a look back at some of the big moments and thought leadership that was highlighted on The Link in 2022.

We were pleased to announce earlier this year that Karen Hudgins would be serving as Signature's President and Chief Operating Officer. In her role, she manages the firm's day-to-day business, ensuring the organization has the most effective people, processes, and technology in place to be successful.

To further our commitment of improving the healthcare experience in 2022, Signature Performance welcomed Dr. Clinton "Leo" Greenstone to our organization as our first-ever Chief Medical Officer and as a member of our Executive Leadership Team. As Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Greenstone utilizes his vast industry expertise to support Signature in our vision to bend the curve of rising healthcare administrative costs and burdens in the United States in the federal and commercial markets.

Signature Performance was pleased to announce the acquisition of Atwater Solutions, LLC based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2022. This union offers a strengthened commitment to the healthcare industry when coupled with Signature's widely acclaimed healthcare administrative capabilities that serve payers and providers. Both firms are laser focused on providing quality services, and an uncommon dedication to providing outstanding administrative technology, consultancy, and operational execution solutions and services.

Signature Performance was named a 2022 FedHealth IT Innovation Award recipient for our managed service, ClaimsXM. This award recognizes and honors the Federal health technology and consulting community by celebrating programs nominated and selected by their peers for driving innovation and results across the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Military Health System, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Zach Fain, Senior Vice President of Business Transformation at Signature Performance was named a 2022 Disruptive Tech Agent of Change by G2Xchange. In conjunction, our ClaimsXM platform that Zach and his team manage was also named a 2022 Disruptive Tech Program Award recipient. The G2X Disruptive Tech Change Agent Awards recognize Federal IT and consulting leaders and programs, from both industry and government, who are working every day to take calculated risks and positively disrupt the Federal market.

Signature Performance was named a recipient of the 2022 Cognizant Healthcare Excellence Award. The Healthcare Excellence Award recognizes organizations that have implemented Cognizant's digital solutions and have achieved innovation and excellence. This distinction recognized Signature's commitment to changing the conversation around healthcare administrative costs by utilizing our technology-based solution, ClaimsXM.

This year, Signature not only took a deeper look at what positive disruption looks like in healthcare, but why it is necessary for the healthcare experience. When positive disruption is implemented effectively, providers and consumers not only receive the healthcare experience they are looking for, but many are encouraged to take a more active role in their health outcome.

During 2022, Signature highlighted the importance of being an inclusive leader and the sense of belonging in the workplace. Our team believes belonging is a differentiator in the marketplace and one way to attract and retain the industry's best. Belonging is a key driver of our high-performance culture and leads to uncommon careers. That's why we are resolute in making belonging a key part of our Associate experience.

The last few years have proven that innovation is the driving force within the healthcare industry in the United States. Advancements in technology over the last few years have improved how healthcare is administered and processed from a clinical and administrative perspective. In this article, our industry experts discuss how 5G is causing a positive disruption to the telehealth landscape by improving healthcare equity and providing stronger health outcomes for our communities.

At Signature, we are a leader in facilitating an efficient coordination of benefits process. In this article, we discussed the importance of an efficient coordination of benefits process. With administrative costs in the U.S. making up 40% of all healthcare bills received, incomplete patient insurance information adds stress to an already complex care cycle.

Bending the Curve of Healthcare in 2023

Our team at Signature Performance is looking ahead to 2023. We are ready to hit the ground running to drive transformation within healthcare in the United States.
